The second annual Corkless in Galena event will take place on Saturday, June 25, from noon to 7 pm at Depot Park in Galena.
The festival spotlights wineries and food of northern Illinois, allowing attendees to experience a large palette of unique wines and refreshments. Admission package is $20 per person, with each wine tasting being $1.
The event will have local winery and food vendors, live music, and an art show showcasing works from area artists.
Participating wineries include: Illinois River Winery, Galena Cellars, Massbach Ridge Winery, Rocky Waters Vineyard, Fergedaboudit Winery, Prairie State Winery, White Oaks Vineyards, Silver Moon Winery, Fox Valley Winery and August Hills Winery.
For food vendors, Fried Green Tomatoes, DeSoto House, the Market House Restaurant, Embe, Galena Main Street Cheesecakes and the Galena ARC will have tents serving food at the event.
Each winery will have a 10 by 10 foot tent and will bring a mix of wines for festival event filled with good wine, good food and good music.
