Offering original artwork from professional artist Mark Skidmore, the gallery features a wide variety of artwork to fit your style and needs. Affordable classes with many mediums from which to choose are offered. Watch the artist paint daily in his studio at the gallery.

STONE HOUSE POTTERY & GALLERY –418 Spring St, Galena, 815-777-0354. Featuring work by Charles Fach, Stone House Pottery & Gallery has a variety of artwork. They carry bronze sculptures, clay tiles and both functional and decorative pottery. They also have two-dimensional art available that is made by area artists. These pieces include both paintings and drawings.

STUDIOWORK –130 N Main St, Elizabeth, 815-858-3588. Filled with pottery, photographs and paintings, Studiowork is owned by Adrienne Seagraves. Along with her pottery, Seagraves displays the work of local artists in her gallery.

WEST STREET SCULPTURE PARK –620 S West St, Galena 815-777-9591. The West Street Sculpture Park offers visitors the chance to walk along a two-acre stretch containing more than a dozen large, welded metal sculptures that are all made by artist John Martinson. There is an on-site studio where Martinson can often be found working on sculptures. Open dawn to dusk.

WOODBINE GLASS MUSEUM –3799WoodbineSt, Woodbine, 815947-3904. Displaying 4,000 pieces of hand-blown glass, the museum represents 200 modern studios, with pieces from different countries.
